1. General Information
Alyssa Bakes is a licensed home-based bakery located in Castaic, CA, specializing in quality, handcrafted baked goods including seasonal treats, cookies, chocolate confections, and scones. We serve Castaic, Valencia, Stevenson Ranch, Saugus, Canyon Country, and surrounding areas.
2. Ordering Process
Placing an Order: Orders can be placed through our website’s online menu or by submitting an inquiry form for custom requests.
Order Confirmation: Once your order is placed, you will receive an email confirmation detailing the items ordered, the total cost, and the estimated delivery or pickup time.
Custom Orders: For custom orders or large quantities, we encourage you to contact us directly at alyssa@alyssabakes.com or 818-324-5502 to discuss specific requirements.
Order Processing: Orders must be placed at least 72 hours in advance for standard orders, and a longer lead time may be required for large or custom orders. You can call us at 818-324-550 for urgent orders.
Order Changes: Any modifications to your order (such as flavors, quantities, or delivery time) must be requested at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery or pickup time. We will do our best to accommodate changes but cannot guarantee modifications on short notice.
Availability: All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to cancel or modify any orders if the requested items are unavailable or in case of unforeseen circumstances.
3. Pricing and Payment
Pricing: All prices are listed in US dollars (USD) and are subject to change without notice. Prices include the cost of ingredients, packaging, and labor but exclude any applicable taxes or delivery fees.
Payment Methods: We accept payments through major credit cards, debit cards, and other secure payment methods available on our website.
Payment Terms: Full payment is required at the time of order for all online orders. Custom or bulk orders may require a deposit, and the remaining balance must be paid upon delivery or pickup.
Refunds and Cancellations: Orders canceled more than 24 hours in advance of the delivery or pickup date may be eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before delivery or pickup may not qualify for a refund.
4. Delivery and Pickup
Delivery Areas: We offer delivery services within Castaic, Valencia, Stevenson Ranch, Saugus, Canyon Country, and surrounding areas.
Delivery Times: Deliveries will be made within the time window provided during the order process. We cannot guarantee specific delivery times but will make every effort to accommodate your preferences.
Pickup: Customers may also choose to pick up their orders at a pre-arranged time and location. Details will be provided during order confirmation.
Delivery Fees: Additional fees may apply for deliveries based on location and order size. These fees will be disclosed during the checkout process.
Failed Delivery: If we are unable to complete a delivery due to incorrect address information or absence of the recipient, the customer will be responsible for any additional fees required for redelivery.
5. Product Quality and Allergens
Handcrafted Goods: All items are made fresh to order using high-quality ingredients. Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, there may be slight variations in appearance or size.
Allergens: While we take great care in avoiding cross-contamination, our kitchen may contain traces of common allergens such as tree nuts, peanuts, dairy, wheat, soy, and eggs, even in items not explicitly listed as containing them. We recommend customers with severe allergies to contact us before placing an order to discuss specific concerns.
Storage and Consumption: We advise consuming baked goods within 24–48 hours of receiving them for optimal freshness. For items with longer shelf lives, proper storage instructions will be provided.
6. Returns and Refunds
Returns: Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns once the items have been delivered or picked up.
Refund Policy: If you are unsatisfied with your order due to quality issues, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order. We will review your concerns and, at our discretion, may offer a replacement or partial refund.
Non-Refundable Circumstances: Refunds will not be issued for issues related to personal taste, preference, or if the product was not stored properly after delivery/pickup.
